In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the President of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party Professor Bhim Singh, has urged the Indian Parliament to reconsider its decision of 5 August 2019.

In a statement in Jammu while referring to the Notifications of 1927 and 1932, he said, the decision cannot change ‘J&K Residents Law’ enacted by Maharaja Hari Singh and approved by the Constituent Assembly.” Radio pakistan reported.

Bhim Singh said the notification signed by Maharaja Hari Singh gave only citizenship rights of Jammu and Kashmir to the state subjects of the territory.
